Notebook Week 10
We have made some compromises and discarded some ideas and are starting to plan for the PLAYSENTATION….
Progress as of now
As we are running out of time, we have come to the conclusion that the creation of a kicking mechanism is currently infeasible. As a result, we are scrapping this feature of the toy. With this out of the way, we are focusing our attention on the actual field. We are finalizing the dimensions of the field and are building a basic one out of 3d printed clips that hold together pieces of either cardboard or plastic. We plan for this court to be assembled in pieces in order for easier portability. We have also finalized the size for the RC car and have made goals for the ball to go into. We are also including a score tracker.
What to focus on now….
Now we are simply going to finish the field. We hope to spray paint it and even add ads to the walls so they look like the walls of an actual professional soccer arena. We are 3d printing more clips for the walls of the soccer arena and are going to 3d print a final ball for the game. We have also started planning our PLAYSENTATION. It will be audacious, dramatic, and captivating! Wow! We are planning to focus our presentation on our new focus of the game which is customizability. The RC cars can be customized with hats and costumes and we will reflect this within costumes and music we will play during the presentation
